How many times have you, your children or anyone else you know locked themselves out of the house? You probably can't even count! What a pain in the neck! You either have to run home with the keys, hide a spare key somewhere around the house, (dangerous) ...

Sorry, but it has been proven that is someone lifts your fingerprint with tape and then places it on the lock, it will open it. Even a partial lifted of your print from your own lock will open it.

Also, be aware that go keyless combination locks are not sequenced. That means that any thief can look for wear on certain keys or dust the most used keys and then press those buttons in any order to access your home.

Buy carefully because they do not like refunds and will not refund any shipping costs incurred whether your fault or theirs.

I bought is lock about 3 months ago from Fingerprintdoorlocks.com. My wife and I think this lock is the greatest thing since sliced bread. We were always looking for keys and replacing our locks due to lost/misplaced keys. We had to change our locks every time we gave out keys to contractors and housekeepers and did not know if copies were made. This lock is the only lock on the market that I have seen that is truly a SINGLE LATCH lock that does NOT require any additional holes to drill and does allow you the ability to manage individual users directly on the lock. I do agree with Dennis in that the manual needs some work although I did figure it out. The guy of http://www.akmelock.com is very helpful in making me to choose a right product. They have another new style lock call "keylock97". It has different look.
