Pros: Styling, full throttle acceleration, four conventional doors, big truck character Cons: Interior less refined than the new F-150s, powertrain less responsive than that in GM trucks
Chryslers leaders were the darlings of the automotive press during the 1990s because of their willingness to take chances with distinctive styling. But how many of these vehicles truly succeeded with consumers? The Viper sold only to a handful of ...

Pros: classy appearance, convenient features, drives like a luxury SUV Cons: runs through gas, sometimes slow on acceleration and braking (unless you push hard)
Awesome is the word that about sums up how I feel about this truck. It doesn't drive/handle like a conventional truck; it feels more like I'm driving a top of the line SUV. When I drove work trucks, I felt like I was driving a truck. This feels more ...

Pros: Fun to drive!! This will make moving a little more fun, at least. Cons: The bad design of the front wall/floor area of the bed.
This being my 3rd Dodge truck (I have to admit to brand loyalty), is the one that had to grow on me. With each body style change, Dodge pushed the envelope with aesthetics. They felt like trucks, they looked like trucks, and they performed like trucks. ...

Pros: Space, ride, and overall good truck. Cons: Gas mileage, but can't expect much from a truck.
We have had this truck for about 2 months now. So far, it has been a great truck. We previously had a 1999 Dodge Ram and traded it in because of ongoing transmission problems. In comparison shopping, we checked out the Chevrolet Silverado and the GMC ...

Pros: The Quad Cab layout, the power, the the factory warranty. Cons: Passenger seat lumbar adjustment.
We have had this truck for two weeks now, and have nothing but positive comments. I had five Chevy trucks previous to this one, but with the last one, a Suburban, I needed something that could pull a trailer without screaming at next to red-line on any ...

Lots of HEMI power
by wicked51 ,May 27 '05
Pros: Lots of power, quick acceleration. Cons: Fuel consumption, not enough leg room for rear passengers in Quad cab.
Nice looking truck, lots of power from the HEMI engine. But fuel efficiency is a downside. Somewhat roomy interior. Some minor interior problems with loose plastic pieces.

2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Regular Cab
by dodgeman2004 ,Oct 27 '04
Pros: Power, Accleration, Looks, Handling, price Cons: Gas Mileage, Didn't get the SRT-10
Very Nice Truck! Hemi has plenty of power, and the gas mileage is not bad considering the excellent acceleration and 345 horses. Can ride a bit rough on bumpy roads sometimes, but hey, if they would fix them then that would not be a problem. Very good towing and load capacity. Factory tires on the truck are great in the rain. Interior is good but improvements would be better. Install Edelbrock IAS shocks and the ram air and "she" will coast like a cadillac down the highway. Maintance is very easy to do, oil filter and pan and regular maintance items are in easy reach. Lights are good, love the cab light, its bright. Good paint finish and overall construction, also mopar accessories made available are great for addons.

cool truck
by nfl55 ,Jul 10 '07
Pros: I love this truck, especially for moving stuff.
Cons: It has 13 miles per gallon and it is not 4WD.
I have had this truck for over two years now. It really powerful and really helpful. It is best when moving furnitures or goods or even large numbers of pessangers. It has 6 seats. The good thing about this truck is that it helps me a lot. The bad things are, it is not 4WD so it will be bad when driving in snow. It has 13 miles per gallon which it's pretty below average.

2004 Dodge Ram 1500 4 x 4 4.7L V8
by nothappy01 ,Oct 11 '05
Pros: Drives well once at steady speed. Comfortable. Sit high, feel very safe. Cons: See body review above.
Body... Driver side door paint is darker than the rest of the truck? I took it in and complained and they said to me, what should we do? Why not tell me what they are going to do?
Since CONS is small, I will write them here! Torsion bars replaced 2X. A/C went out. Radiator cap defective and blew off eighty miles from anywhere. Brakes no good. Alignment off - poor tire wear. Rubber weather stripping torn at front doors. ALL THIS WITH 11,000 MILES ON THE DAMN THING!

i hope this isnt a continuing trend
by rural_idaho ,Apr 10 '07
Pros: i love mostly everything about it Cons: price and whatever the heck is goin on with the engine
were sittin at about 13,000 miles maybe a hair more and the engine just went. we bout the truck brand spankin new and i dont think that it should have had this problem already. within a few months of owning it the cruise controll went out . the turn signals have aloose wire somewhere as they dont work properly all the time and there have been a handfull of times when simply driving around town it has just died w/o warning and this was at speeds of maybe around 25-30 and not in very hot or very cold weather either.
