Pros: Superior traction and stability. Turbocharged. Convertible. Best roadster value today - incredibly reliable.
Cons: This it not your Dad's oldsmobile. The ride may be too harsh for some.
The special edition (SE) Miata for 2004 is not a Miata at all. I picked mine up at a dealer in Columbia, South Carolina, and no where on the body of the car does it say "Miata." Instead, there are MAZDASPEED MX-5 badges everywhere - behind the mirror, on ...
Pros: factory turbo = more HP and torque;
beefier clutch, brakes, suspension Cons: small car = exposure to 5000 pound behemoths driven by soccer moms & dads
I haven't written an Epinion in a long time. My most popular review was the one I wrote several years ago on my 95 Honda del Sol...it still gets a lot of hits three years later. Well, I've sold that del Sol and bought myself a MazdaSpeed Miata to ...
Pros: Outstanding balance, excellent handling, quick acceleration, confident braking, great resale, stylish, exclusive, fun, great value Cons: Claustrophobic with the top up, redline too low, other drivers don't treat you with respect
I bought this car in July of 2004 as a replacement for a Mazda6, which was repurchased by the manufacturer. 2004 Mazdaspeed MX-5 Exterior: Titanium Gray Mica Interior: Black Top: Black Options: Grand Touring Package (Black leather seats with ...
Pros: Beautiful, fast, stable, handles well. Cons: I found the ride less than smooth.

Pros: Price, looks, overall performance, seats, rwd, rumored reliability, suspension tuning, exclusivity, long warranty. Cons: Turbo lag, wiggly structure, silly rear spoiler, narrow powerband, short 6th gear, why no cruise???
I'd like to preface by saying I very much enjoy driving this thing, but it's definitely not perfect. To start with its few drawbacks, I find the turbo lag frustrating, especially considering its relatively low redline. The turbo kicks in around 4k ...

Pros: Quick, Beautiful, Stable and Priced Right. Cons: Shifter action sluggish a times.
From the moment I took this baby on a test drive, I knew she was coming home with me. I've owned and test driven many sports cars in my 30 years on the road, and very few have given me the mile-wide grin I wear when I drive my MX-5. I can either choose "Regular Miata" or "Super MX-5" just by engaging the turbo, and the handling is superb.
My only complaint is that the shifter isn't as smooth when the car isn't fully warmed-up. It takes about 5 or 6 miles of driving to get the shifter moving the way I like it.
