Pros: Acceleration, Style, 4-Doors Cons: Interior Quality, Road Noise, Torque Steer, Overall Value
The Altima has come a long way from when it was first introduced in 1993. Originally known as a small, underpowered yet reliable sedan, the new Altima is all grown up. With the bold complete redesign and the first V6 engine, the Altima had found its ...

Nissan Altima is Perfect
by buddyfelix ,Jul 19 '04
Pros: Great design and reliability Cons: Cant think of any
The Altima has been amazing. It rides very smoothly and has an amazing amount of leg room. Two unbeatable items. The price is very reasonable for what the car has to offer. Ive never had any mechanical problems with the car. I tried out the Audi A4 before deciding on the Altima. The Altima was 10,000 cheaper and was almost equal with the Audi. The Altima also has great air conditioning and cooling as well. There is even plenty of horsepower under the hood. When you need to go its there and ready for all you needs.

my first car- good choice!
by birdman200 ,Jun 20 '07
Pros: reliable, fun, manual transmission Cons: cheap interior, 4 cylinder engine, more horse power would be fun
I bought a 2004 nissan altima 2.5S as my first car. It had 73,000 miles on it. It has the 5 speed manual transmission and inline 4 cylinder engine. There are no complaints about this car, yet. However, a couple weeks ago the driver side window stopped working. Some people complain that the interior is cheap. I have to partially agree on this- but, it's my first car, so I can deal with it. It gets 175 hp, a 6250rpm redline, and front wheel drive. The trunk is huge, the back seat is roomy, and rides nicely. The consoles are fun- 2 different ones in the center between the driver and passenger seats. then, there is an extend-able console that acts as an arm rest. very good on gas, and I really love this car.
