Pros: power, towing, refinement Cons: few powertrain choices, no eight-foot bed
"You might be a Texan," an old joke would have it, "If you've ever brought a new truck home and found out it doesn't fit in your garage." That's a joke that certainly predates the Ford Excursion. Indeed, citizens of the Lone Star State will forever ...

Pros: A fast, fun, strong, roomy, comfy, tough, winner with great sound. Cons: Poor mileage, brake problems, squeaks, imperfect 4WD transfer system
This is my first ever review written for Epinions, so please, be tolerant of my rants. I'll try to keep them sensible.</p> So lets start this with a little about me. I've had lots of cars thus far in my life, and I was intimately ...

Pros: Acceleration, Comfort, Utility Cons: Gas
If you want a truck that can kick the F-150 and Chevy 1500 models to the dirt, this is your vehicle right here! I purchased this truck and cannot say anything but good things about it. The only bad thing about the truck is the gas mileage, which the EPA ...

Pros: Convenience, comfort, power, performance and more Cons: Gas
Do you want to go for the XE, SE or LE? Whichever type you choose, you can only be a happy truck owner. Consider the following: Four (4) real doors in a car-like truck which comes with all the sturdiness and roughness of any truck on the road! Are ...

Pros: Interior space, power, bed functionality Cons: Factory Recalls, Cheap Finish quality (dash)
The 2004 Nissan Titan, which I have owned for about a year now, is a great truck. I say that having visited the dealership many times for problems. Nevertheless, its great. Here's what I was looking for when I bought a truck. I needed to fit three ...

Pros: Power, tow weight, looks Cons: ? - none!!!
While I see one negative review on this site, I believe the Titan is a worthwhile investment. First, I would never buy a "Big 3" vehicle. I've had too many bad experiences with them and Nissan is my vehicle of choice. I traded in an '03 Pathfinder for my ...

JUST PLAIN AWESOME
by cockshutt ,Feb 22 '05
Pros: Speed, Towing, comfort, ride, standard options, look, Cons: no power rear sliding window (2004) GAS 15-17, AC switch
THIS TRUCK ROCKS POWER ROOM YOU NAME IT. THIS TRUCK GET'S ER DONE BOO YAAAAAAA!!!!!!! I was always a Dodge man but they couldn't touch this truck on cost and features that where standard. Automatic Trans auto 4X4 switch i mean come on it's a truck Dodge wants to screw you for another 2500 dollars for that stuff it's standard on the SE which is comprable to the SLT. Dodeg better wake up hell I even like the Ford better than the Dodge now too. AC switch should be separated from temp control I hit it all the time by accident.

DO NOT BUY THIS VEHICLE!!!
by bobbyboyjr ,Jul 07 '04
Pros: POWER WHEN IT RUNS Cons: SEE ABOVE.
THIS IS THE WORST VEHICLE I HAVE EVER OWNED. NO WONDER NISSAN IS 32ND IN THE LATEST JD POWERS LIST. THIRD WORLD BUILD QUALITY AND CHEAP PARTS! 3 THOUSAND MILES AND IT NEEDED A TRANSMISSION, AND I HAVE NEVER TOWED A THING! THE REAR U JOINT WAS LOOSE FROM THE FACTORY!!! PIECE OF JUNK. THE PLANT HAS SEVERE QUALITY ISSUES THAT ARE IN EVERY BUSINESS MAGAZINE. IT HAS SPENT 63 OF THE LAST 90 DAYS SITTING AT THE DEALER. THERE ARE NO PARTS AVAILABLE. THE STORAGE DOOR IN THE BED HAS NEVER WORKED. THE WINDOWS BROKE ON THE FIRST DAY ETC ETC ETC. BUY ANYTHING ELSE. HYUNDAI'S ARE BUILT BETTER!

Smooth, Strong, Not much Wrong
by apoind1 ,Apr 19 '05
Pros: While others are braking on overpasses, the Titan can accelerate through the turns w/control. Cons: I've had a couple of minor glueing problems with some interior pieces.
I waited a long time for Nissan to put out a big truck, so was first in line when they started showing up in Texas. I've owned the Titan for over a year now and I'm quite pleased with the mighty Beast! This head turner runs smooth, is quiet, and just feels solid. It hugs the road in rain and has plenty of power for passing. The turning radius of Nissan trucks is still lacking in the Titan....surprised that they haven't figured out we rednecks miss our turns quite often and need to back track!

Titan Makes US Trucks hang there heads in shame
by wgunkel ,Jan 04 '06
Pros: Size, Power, Features, Looks Cons: Push On-Off parking brake. Parts from dealer only
15 months later and almost 40,000 miles I still love this truck
Ordered my SE with sound, big tow and off road packages. Noting to add for a sold off road truck. The tires are not great for mud. But add set (all 4 wheels) of heavy duty chains and you can go mudding to your hearts content.
The break issue (breaks to small for size of truck) took two visits to the dealer to fix. Since I watched the on line Titan sites I knew when the dealer had the parts so there was very little pain in getting brakes upgraded.
VERY fun truck to drive (if your worried about cost of gas do not buy a Titan get as low as 10 MPG). Tons of run in the cab.
BY FAR best truck I have ever owned or driven
5/07 Now have 45,000 miles and still love the truck. I have no problems since the break issue was resolved and still think this to be the best truck I have owned. The gas mileage is constant at about 12 per. So at $3.70 per gal this thing costs a lot to drive. But its worth it..

2005 Nissan Titan XE
by tstopper ,Jan 05 '06
Pros: Amazing Power and Torque, very spacious, heavy duty, great styling. Cons: Fuel mileage (not too bad considering the size, power, and temptation to floor it!)
This is, hands down, the best truck available today. I test drove every make and model out there, and always returned to the Titan!
