Pros: Interior versatility, price, front seat comfort, ride quality, quietness, driveability, safety features Cons: Rear seat room and comfort not the best, stability control and all-wheel-drive not available
Chrysler invented the front-wheel-drive minivan as we know it and for years held more than 50 percent of the market. In recent years, however, there have been many new entrants into this category, many of them with innovative features. As a result, ...

Pros: Nice styling. Enough whistles and bells to satisfy anyone looking for a fully loaded vehicle. Cons: Recuced head room from previous models. Driver comfort marginal for larger persons.
I bought one of the first of the newer style Dodge Grand Caravans back in 1996. With over 101,000 miles of trouble free use I decided it was time to upgrade and buy a new one. I test drove many other vehicles before deciding to buy a Daimler Chrysler ...

Pros: Comfortable drive; Automated doors; GPS; Stow n GO seats Cons: Price; Gas mileage; gambling with reliability!
This my third Van I leased in 5 years and I have to say that once my lease is up I think I will take the option to buy it! Note: my 2002 T&C had engine trouble. Within 6 months, I had ticking from the exhaust manifold, and 3 minor recalls. Then a few ...

Pros: Stow n Go seats! Cons: Past reliability ratings warrant consideration of purchasing an extended warranty.
Originally set out to buy a different make and model minivan after reading the reviews in Consumer Reports and seeing some impressive incentives being offered on the close-out models, but the 2005 Town & Country changed my mind. First, I test drove ...

Pros: Classy look. Smooth, quiet ride. Comfortable and Roomy. Cons: Heavy rear door!
Cheap plastic parts.
I bought my 2005 Chrysler T&C about 9 months ago. The love affair continues. I bought this van because I needed a reliable, roomy vehicle to carry myself and my toddler around town. I am on a budget so didn't buy all the bells and whistles, I still ...

Pros: Nothing compares to the Stow'n'Go! Cons: Must get leather package if you want the luxury package.
I purchased the '05 Town & Country Touring model, have driven it about 200 miles and so far, can not find a thing I don't like about it. Prior to this minivan, I drove a Chevy Suburban for 5 years and a few other 4x4's prior to that, so minivan is a new ...

Pros: Comfy, quiet, nice luxury amenities, Stow n' Go seating Cons: Nagging reliability problems, fuel economy, indifferent dealer service
This review concerns the Town and Country Limited model We previously owned a 2001 T&C Limited and were very happy with it, so when Stow n' Go was announced in the 2005 model year we headed straight to the dealer and traded up. The interior ...

Pros: Easy conversion, great storage, smooth ride, Able to have Garage door opener programed in. Cons: No back up beeper, inside temp would be nice.
We have been very pleased with our Town and Country, especially the stow feature. We use this as a passenger vehicle around the town, to take friends and family along. BUT also stow those seats and, put in our home designed bed (the bed length runs ...

Pros: elegant, classy, handles well Cons: computerized, limited head room
As the title states, what did happen to your dad's old Chrysler van. I can remember when the first Chrysler vans were introduced. They had the nice body style that looked elegant. They had the nice, smooth ride that most Chrysler vans have. Then they had ...

Pros: Good ride, Stow N' Go seats, price Cons: Reliability concerns, front seat headroom, no AWD or side airbag option
Have owned the minivan for 4 months and over 11,000 miles. In that time I've had minor problems that are annoying that probably wouldn't have to deal with if I purchased a Honda or Toyota. They are: airbag dashlight, tire pressure monitor system ...

Pros: Nice ride; classy interior; attractive price Cons: brakes, brakes, brakes
For the price, the best minivan on the market. If you want to spend another $10,000, get a Honda Odessey. There are a lot of plusses. The interior of the car is really what sold me. We looked at the Dodge Caravan and it was monochromatic plastic ...

'05 T&C is an amazing minivan experience
by stdarty ,Apr 01 '04
Pros: options, comfort, room, storage, convenience, price, Cons: doesn't do laundry or walk the dog
We have recently purchased a touring edition T&C and we love it! We have 2 small children and this is an ideal family vehicle. From the power doors to the dvd player (with WIRELESS headsets), to a multidisc changer, to the capability of plugging in an X-box, to the traction control we have yet to find something about this van we dont like. For those of you in NC be sure to purchase yours from Westside Chrysler Dodge and Jeep (in Mocksville).

Very poor mileage / bad support from Chrysler
by eb22cornelledu ,Dec 09 '04
Pros: Nice van with lots of space. Uconnect is great. Cons: Very poor gas mileage.
This is a reasonable minivan and we like most things about it. The Stow&Go is great. However, in terms of gas consumption it is really thirsty. We get less than 15 mpg in town and less than 21 mpg on the freeway. We have never been able to get more than 21mpg.
This is really poor and Chrysler ignores our complains totally. The dealer is great but Chrysler's main service might as well not exist.

Chrysler Town & Country
by MariAnnaW ,Jan 03 '05
Pros: Handling; storage; automatic door/rear lift; DVD player; interior heats up quickly. Cons: No AWD; no adjustable pedals on my model; no rear sensor beep.
I got my first minivan just last week; I love my new leased Town & Country. It handles just like a car, and all the bells and whistles make me feel like I haven't given anything up.
