Pros: Styling, acceleration, high level of standard equipment Cons: Rear seat comfort, rear seat doesn't fold, torque steer with manual, others more agile
The 2003 Acura TL-S sold for two primary reasons: a wonderful 260-horsepower V6 and a lot of standard content for a low 30s sticker price. But few found its styling highly attractive and no review of the car failed to mention that its front-drive chassis ...
Pros: Stylish , competitive and just a little cool and different. Cons: Poor rear visibility, rear seat needs redesign , smallish trunk
The Top Line Go out looking for a Mercedes or BMW , come back with an Acura. Seriously – that’s what happened over the summer. It was time to get rid of the old lemon Volvo S80 that cost more to maintain than my teenage daughters clothing ...
We have now owned the 2005 Acura TL for close to six months and have driven a little more than 10,000. Over the six months I feel that I have gotten to know the car pretty well. Living in Atlanta, we have a variety of different driving conditions- ...
About the TL The TL was completely re-engineered for the 2004 model year. There have been few if any changes to the 2005 model. This is the fourth generation of Acuras mid-sized sedan based on the Honda Accord platform. Originally called the ...
Pros: power, comfort, quiet, great turning circle, NAVIGATION, NAVIGATION, NAVIGATION! Cons: not as reliable as the old one
This car is excellent... but i can't say it's as reliable as older models. DRIVETRAIN: This car offers 270hp @ 6200rpm. Online you may find other reviewers stating that the 270 mark comes at a high rpm and that you need to rev up the motor to ...
Pros: Styling, performance, safety, extra features Cons: I am still thinking....
Id never imagined spending more than the average price for a car, but, my wife always needs to keep up with Jones. When she said she was considering a Lexus ES 330, I quickly intervened. Weve had Toyota Avalon for the past ...
Pros: clean luxurious style, good interior design, sound system, gadgets Cons: steering feel is SCARY, torque steer, body roll, fake wood trim, too Honda for me
When I drive a car, I'm looking for a car that makes me feel one with the road. I am a connoisseur who appreciates interior luxury, gadgets, yeah yeah here here. However, I'm a fan of the experience more than anything. As a former Subaru and VW salesmen, ...
Pros: features, value, navigation, voice commands, quality of materials Cons: quality of assembly
I had purchased this car and was ecstatic about driving it off the dealer's lot. But all that joy and happiness turned sour after a real-life 'test drive' of the car. My first incident was when the car developed a squeak in the rear end. After three ...
I purchased a 2005 TL in October of 2005. A year and a half later, I have only 9400 miles on it, yet I'm completely frustrated with the driving experience. My 1999 TL drove very differently. It was smooth, and driving felt wonderful. The 2005, however, has a really choppy ride, and vibrates so much that passengers ask me if I have a flat tire. The dealer has been unable to help me in any way. I've been told that 2004-2006 Acuras have a different suspension (fixed with 2007). My "performance" tires go flat after the tires sit for 3-4 hours, so the first 5-10 minutes of each ride it feels like I have a flat. Plus, the car vibrates far more than any other luxury car I've ever driven. The Infiniti had a much better ride. I've driven Hondas and Acuras since I was 16, and I can say that they're not what they used to be. Don't assume you get what you pay for. They put more energy into the gadgets and the fancy blue lights than they did to the driving experience itself. (Also, gas mileage is only 22 mpg.)
Pros: The car has unbelievable torque, speed, handling, comfort, and is extremely fun to drive. Cons: Driving my car makes me want to speed.
I just bought my TL in June and have been in love with it ever since. The car has amazing speed and torque with a comfortable interior. I travel around the country and couldn't think of a better car to take me than my new TL!
