Pros: Unbelievable handling for an SUV, power, comfort & it’s a Porsche! Cons: only 2 12v outlets & expensive to purchase and maintain The Bottom Line: The Cayenne S was the only vehicle that had everything that I wanted.
This is my 4th SUV since 1992 and this is one is the most fun to drive. It handles better then my '02 Lexus GS430 and is almost as quick (0-60 in 7.2 seconds verses 6.5 seconds) and it can even tow almost 8000 pounds! It's also the most comfortable SUV ...

Pros: It looks like an expensive SUV Cons: Poor performance, gas mileage poor, Noisy engine. No bluetooth capability available. The Bottom Line: I have owned Porsche's in the past, but I must say THIS IS THE WORST MODEL Porsche has ever made!
Acceleration with this kind of fuel consumption is unacceptable!
We bought this for a skiing and around town in the winter rig. BIG MISTAKE! This is by far the WORST SUV, or for that matter car, any company has ever made. I had a Toyota 4Runner that had better performance, acceleration, power, and gas millage than ...

Pros: Nice tight handling, quick acceleration, good (over 20mpg) fuel economy, plenty of room. Cons: Hmmmm....can't think of any yet.
I know what you are thinking- a Porsche SUV? That was my first reaction, too.
Once you get past the seeming incongruity of it, and actually drive one, you realize just what a marriage made in heaven this is.
The vehicle is very tight, handles like...er, well like a Porsche. Like a nice tight little sports car.
But it has nice comfortable seating for four- maybe five in a pinch, with plenty of room in the back for your stuff. Or you can put the seats down flat, and have a nice place for a dog (or two, like I have).
Now- a caveat: I have the six cylinder base Cayenne model, with a six speed manual transmission, which is really fun to drive. But, they are very hard to find in this set-up: for some reason Porsche only put the six speed manual on the six cylinder model, and the dealer told me there were only 7 in the U.S. So mine is apparently rare.
But if you can get one in the six-speed set up, it is a sweet ride!
