Pros: Awd, handling, transmission, interior, spartan feel, road feel, top end acceleration. Cons: Tall gears, not enough bang for the buck, less practical, in shadow of STI. The Bottom Line: Fun to drive, but not enough bang for 24 thousand bucks given how small it is. You will regret not getting an STI.

Pros: Power, wagon utility, AWD, , excellent crash ratings, fun Cons: 91 octane gas and 23 combined mpg is the price you pay The Bottom Line: I love this car. It's my daily driver, family hauling, sporty midlife crisis, weekend warrior, safe comfort, reliable, and utilitarian car.
