Civic EX offers a lot of style for the budget-minded

by drienne73
Jul 10 '07 - Updated Oct 14 '07

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 4.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Great gas mileage, sporty styling inside and out, Honda reliability.
Cons: Cloth seats (leather not available), limited rear head room, cheap tires.
The Bottom Line: I definitely recommend this car for commuters, singles, and young couples. Fully loaded, it's reliable, sporty and stylish without a hefty price at the dealer or the gas pump.

I bought my 2007 Honda Civic EX Coupe about 3 weeks ago. Mine is a nighthawk black model with the five speed manual transmission. I added the Fog Lights, Splash guards (mudflaps), door edge guards, all-weather mats, and a block heater (to help fight our ...

The Better Compact Sedan

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Handling, design, roomy, fuel economy
Cons: Pricey
The Bottom Line: The Corolla is smooth and quiet. The Civic, then, is more livelier.

Being popular doesn't always mean being cool. Take the Honda Civic, for example. They've been around for quite a while. Those buggers are economical, affordable, and reliable. Then they were cool thanks to the tuner crowd. However, these days, the ...

Pros: SAFETY, looks, handling, standard cruise, smooth transmission, trunk space, sound.
Cons: Limited leg room in the back, louder on the road than competition.
The Bottom Line: If you like sleek cars and don't have cash for a BMW, get your 2008 Civic!

I've had my Civic Coupe for 5 days and I absolutely love it! The Good: -Safety; the Civic Coupe is the safest car in its size and class today. It exceeds the maximum U.S. safety standard to match its own Honda standard. 6 advanced airbags, ...

Pros: Luxury, Seating, Travel motion.
Cons: Some people do not believe the car is luxury, which it is in my opinion.
The Bottom Line: If you are thinking about buying a luxury car like a Lexus, think again because the Honda Civic may be a better option.

The Honda Civic is a great car that provides luxury and reliability. I used to drive an old car, a 1994 Honda Accord. It was getting old, and in poor running condition. When I first realized I didn't have long with my 1004, I raced to the dealers. I went ...

Pros: Reliable, sporty, and what more can you say " Its a HONDA for Christ Sake!
Cons: Need more space for a family to fit in the Coupe.
My first car was a Honda Civic 99 I bought it used, and then after figuring out how to parallel park and driving it all across the country I decided it was time for an upgrade. So I got a 2008 Honda Civic Coupe, and it is the best. I love it!!! Its sooooooo cute, sexy, and reliable. I dont have to worry it wont crank up and I love the digital speedometer!!!!

Pros: Sleek Design Great Gas Mileage Durable
Cons: No Trunk Button on Remote
I have had my Honda Civic Coupe LX since August of 2007. I have absolutely no complaints about it so far. The look is sleek and modern, and the interior is absolutely stunning. The digital mph and gas really gives you a feeling of sleekness. The stereo is decent, nothing out of the ordinary. It comes with mp3 capability, which is nice. The Civic gets amazing gas mileage- 42 miles per gallon. It is an incredibly safe car. When I was driving down the road I had someone pull out in front of me and hit me. My air bags deployed and I walked out without a scratch. I got incredibly lucky and it definitely helped that I had such a safe car. Being a new driver, the Civic truly does meet my every need.

2008 CIVIC EX SEDAN

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes
Pros: Feature rich, advanced technology, performance, and MPG
Cons: Still has a horn that sounds like you are on a bumper car circuit.
It has been well over 20 years now since American car companies have become aware that foreign manufacturing has exceeded them in almost every category imaginable and You would think that after all this time the American auto manufacturers would would have certainly matched or exceeded most of the competitive issues in order to maintain market share. Well I can honestly say that I thought so too until purchasing my first new 2008 Honda. I average buying a new car about every 3 to 4 years and until now have purchased mostly Fords and Chevys. Feature rich is an understatement and I have to say that the ride, the look, the fuel economy, and the performance of this car still surpasses anything comparable on the American market. Maybe that is why the resale value of a foreign cars still average 20 to 30 percent higher than their American counterparts.

Pros: Everything, 197hp K20Z3 motor
Cons: Nothing
I purchased the 2007 Civic Si Sedan and it has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. It is very fast, well built and is very high quality. The best part about it is when you wield theough the close-ratio 6 speed transmission, especially out of turns when you really feel the LSD, and when you hit i-vtec at 5500 rpm's. it is a great handeling car and would recomend it to everyone.

Pros: New look, handling, dash board, sleek look, the ex has it all!
Cons: Leg room for passengers in the back seat
I got my car about a month ago and I love it. The new design of the Honda Civic ex is fabulous! The handling, pick up, the interior, exterior, navigation option, sound system, seats, dash! It's incredible how this car has changed. It makes me feel like I'm not in a Honda civic. I feel like I'm in a very expensive car. It's new design is out of this world.

Pros: great gas mileage, looks good, handles very well, various airbags
Cons: cheap tires, brakes could be better
Honda is only getting better. After getting rid of my 2005 Civic Sedan, I was overjoyed to see that Honda had come up with a new, refreshing, sporty, young look for their new generation. I got my Coupe in February of 2007 and have not had any problems whatsoever. The exterior and interior have undergone major positive change from the last generation. A great car.

Pros: Gas mileage, size of the car, Aux plug on Stereo. Color is ok
Cons: Poor visibility, Power Steering failed, Real suspension problems. Poor Dealer service
We purchased our third Honda Civic. A 2007 4 door 5 speed.
This car has been a disappointment compared to our previous Honda's.
