Pros: Incredibly stylish, sun & sound package has a great stereo system Cons: No space for people in the backseat, forget lugging big dogs around! The Bottom Line: I would buy this car again if I had to. It's fun, stylish and turns heads.
My office was moving this past July to a new location and I, since I am a peon, did not get "invited" to move the heavy stuff (thank goodness for the small things in life). However, since I do not do well with inactivity, I decided to go look at cars as ...

Pros: Power, Handling Cons: Interior Quality, Front Wheel Drive The Bottom Line: Good handling, reasonably styled with acceptable fuel economy.
This is a rental car that I picked up at Dulles airport back in the New Year. I had actually booked a Ford Fusion and my heart sank when they jovially told me I'd been given a Chevy Monte Carlo. At that point I said, "haven't you got something like ...

Pros: Not a lot of Spyders on the road. Insurance is less than comparable convertibles. Cons: Overpowered engine. Gas mileage: 16 city/23 Hwy. The Bottom Line: If you want a vehicle that if fun and has lots of power to spare, the choice is the Spyder.
I purchased a new 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT at the end of April 2007. This is my first convertible. I can honestly say that I've had a great Summer driving this little beauty to and from the beach on weekends. I wasn't prepared for all the ...

Pros: Great exhaust note; kind of rare. Cons: Can't see out of any of the windows; heavy steering; turning radius.
I rented a GT Spyder for a month in Maryland. It was a blast. Gobs of power, the exhaust sounded great, and everything on the dash was pretty easy to figure out. Not to mention the stereo sounded great and the 6-disc changer was a nice touch. Good storage space in the glove box and center console, obviously the trunk would only hold a couple of bookbags. The back seats were for decoration only.
But, trying to see behind me to back out of a parking space with the top up just plain bordered on dangerous... I couldn't see anything.

Pros: Styling, power top, 260HP, comfortable seats, premier stereo system Cons: blind spots with top up, large turning radius, gas mileage/premium fuel
I've owned an 2007 Eclipse Spyder GT for 3 months now and I love this car. It is muscular, powerful and extremely comfortable to drive. It may not handle as well as a RWD sports car but living in Ohio with snowy winters I prefer FWD anyway. This is a car that offers smiles all year around. I get so many looks with this car, its awesome!!!

Pros: Quick, great looking, great features, reasonable fuel economy, reasonable price, awesome warranty Cons: What back seat? Not much rear visibility.
I've owned my 2007 eclipse for 3 months now and I have nothing bad to say about the car other then perhaps whats written in the cons section; which I was well aware of before purchasing.
Its a pleasure to drive, without a doubt the best car I've owned. I constantly get requests for rides and positive comments. The first week I owned the car a guy the lane beside me nearly got in accident because he was gwaking in slack jawed amazement. He actually rolled down his window to give me the thumbs up!
Most people seem to think I've paid much more and are surprised by the MSRP. Its also a unique car here in Canada which I love. I don't want to have the same car as my neighbor or co-worker.
I would highly recommend this car to anyone in the market for a vehicle of its type. If your in the area consider talking to someone at Cambridge Mitsibishi. The sales service there was almost as good as the car that I was happy to receive in the end.
