| The nearly invisible Mitsubishi Galant gets the Ralliart treatment to stand out from the midsize herd. Performance upgrades include a 258-bhp 3.8L V-8 mated to a 5-speed automatic, stiffer sport suspension, 18-inch wheels, and unique interior and exterior trim. Mitsubishi claims 0-60 mph in approximately 7 seconds, which is certainly competitive, but not class-leading. The 6-speed manual from the Eclipse GT would certainly improve acceleration. Interior enhancements include leather seats and aluminum pedals. Side-curtain airbags are now standard. A Rockford Acoustic Design™ audio system cranks out 360-watts through 8 speakers. An optional DVD navigation system is also available. |
