Pros: Styling, styling, styling, excellent FE2 suspension
Cons: Soggy base suspension, tight rear seat, inexplicable mass
The Bottom Line: Beautiful car, but combines a 3-Series-sized rear seat with 5-Series exterior size and mass. The base suspension is overly soft; the FE2 suspension is far better.

Some people will object to the styling of the recently introduced second-generation Cadillac CTS. They'll say the front grille is too big or that the interior is too flashy. To my eye, though, the styling is the best out of Detroit in recent memory, and ...

Pros: Interior finally worthy of the name Cadillac. Exterior touches register: HOT!!!
Cons: fuel economy, interior space
The Bottom Line: Unless you need more space, the 2008 CTS is a fantastic luxury car which arguably surpasses the Japanese and German competition in this range.

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 4.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Styling, interior, features, safety, room, performance, AWD
Cons: Heavy, engine groans at times, manual transmission unavailable for AWD
The Bottom Line: Certainly raising the bar, Cadillac finally hit the target and made a great sports sedan. This ride would surprise almost anyone.

The original CTS was introduced back in 2002 as a 2003 model, and it surprised people. It was a great car 5 years ago, and still is. It did not have a whole lot of bad parts to it, but some were that the interior was not up to the standards, the design ...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: An interior so comfortable and so beautiful it should be in a gallery!
Cons: V-series not yet available (coming soon though!)
The Bottom Line: Cadillac CTS is so good that it should really be positioned as a mid-range luxury car, despite its entry level position in the company's lineup. Read on to see why...

Take note luxury car lovers: the new 2008 Cadillacs are now available and there's big improvements rolling off those car carriers --- especially in the totally redesigned, completely reworked, and newly relevant CTS. What Cadillac is bringing out ...
