Pros: Great Look; Handles well, Safety features, interior room, decent leg room(back seat, sound system
Cons: Need more torque, somewhat odd controls, lack upgrade features like XM Radio
The Bottom Line: This is a car worth buying. Honda has a great track record. They continue to produce great cars. You cant beat Honda's reliability, and dependability!

The new 2008 Accord EX is a great care to buy. It handles great; the grade logic system works well when climbing or descending through mountain roads. Drivers are able to maintain control of the car. Acceleration was decent on the EX. The V6 ...

This car looks and feels like it was rushed out the door.

Pros: Great power. Other people seem to like the way it looks.
Cons: The ECO system, wind noise, crook exhaust tips.
The Bottom Line: Shop around, don't buy this car just because it is says Honda on it. I am not impressed.

I bought the car because I need reliable, moderately comfortable transportation for the next 200,000 miles. The power is excellent. I haven't put the pedal to the metal yet. Mainly because you don't have to. Doing so would only result in speeds well ...

2008 Accord - Mostly Good

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Sleek redesign, fun to drive, great MPG. Interior seems huge!
Cons: Driver has NO Arm Support! Very Annoying not be comfortable while driving, stupid omission!
The Bottom Line: Everything about this car is great except Driver Comfort. The lack of arm support is a shocking omission!

The redesigned 2008 Accord 4 cyl EX-L has a great redesign that gives it more interior room than a Camry (we have one of each). So, while the car is only a few inches longer than the Camry, the interior feels like a huge increase in space. I truly ...

2008 Honda Accord: what happened to "we make it simple"?

by mkaresh mkaresh is a Lead on Epinions in Cars & Motorsports
Oct 01 '07

Author's Product Rating: 40 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Upscale appearance, composed chassis, V6 power, roominess, refinement
Cons: Excessive front overhang, complicated controls, too large and heavy?
The Bottom Line: Impressive in many respects, but many of Honda's traditional principles have been forsaken.

When I first got into cars a quarter-century ago, the second-generation Honda Accord was perhaps the hottest sedan on the market. Not because it was large--it was more compact than just about any competitor. And not because it was powerful: the sole ...

Pros: Its an improvement over the 2007 model with Acura-grade hints.
Cons: Overly cheap feeling interior. Base trim needs more power. Less space than outgoing model
The Bottom Line: There are so many options for a 4-door sedan on the market, its hard to recommend the new Accord to anyone other than the most budget conscious or loyal.

WHO EXACTLY WILL THE 2008 ACCORD APPEAL TO? The Honda Accord has gained critical acclaim with after market tuners, retirees and budget minded drivers as the best selling Japanese car in America between the years of 1982 and 1997. I ...

Pros: Styling. Confort. Equipment. Handling.
Cons: Engine and electronics are a miserable faliure.
DO NOT...under any circumstances....buy the current V6 Coupe with a manual transmission. This configuration represents a very little percentage of total vehicles built. It has it's own engine, and Honda did not do a very good job on it. I purchased one

Pros: Fresh design. Softer ride than the harsher 06 suspension
Cons: None so far. Im thinking maybe the stereo speaker quality in the 06 was better?
I just took delivery of my 2008 Honda Accord LXP Sedan in polished metal metallic w/ black cloth interior. This was an upgrade from my 06 Honda Accord LX. Vast improvement and many upgrades. Quality, fit and finish are very noticeable. Definately
