2008 Scion xB: This One’s For Grown-Ups.

Pros: Massive interior space, high feature content, torquey 2.4-liter engine, smooth and settled dynamics.
Cons: Limited visibility and so-so fuel economy are backwards steps; generally less quirky and mischievous.
The Bottom Line: The new xB is bigger, more substantial, and much less iconic than the original. But its key strengths—room, versatility, and strong value—remain good reasons to buy one.

Pros: Distinctive, roomy, value, "new and improved"
Cons: Exterior less pure, cabin less airy, handling less agile, higher price, "new and improved"
The Bottom Line: Not as special as the old car, but still distinctive and a lot of car for the price.
