Pros: Great picture, nice monitor for remote shooting Cons: More expensive than larger TV
I bought this TV for use as a remote video monitor while shooting with my Canon XL1 (see my review). I found it very useful for seeing the final viewed quality of my picture, and the multiple power options let you run it off a car cigarette lighter or...

Pros: Wonderful picture, longevity. Cons: A bit on the pricey side.
I purchased this television in 1996 and it is still going strong six years later. Some may think that $300+ is alot to pay for a 9 inch TV but the great picture and reliability are well worth it. Only my HDTV looks better. Once, while moving I dropped...

THE SONY KV-9PT60 portable TV set
by harriber ,Mar 31 '05
Pros: I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THIS UNIT FULLY FUNCTIONAL !! Cons: THEY SAY THAT THIS UNIT IS TERRIFIC.....WHEN IT WORKS !!
This is really weird. So many of you have raved about the picture quality of this set...and I'm sure you're right....that is when it WORKS. I'm just wondering why there's so many of these units that are being sold as...NON-WORKING ? I, myself have already bought 4 of them....all non-working, and....I intend to find out why they all have the same identical problem. Sound works....but no PICTURE. Black....NO RASTER. I was starting to think it was a case of BAD picture tubes...but these sets all use the famous TRINITRON. These tubes don't just die suddenly...they often become weak with age, but never die instantly. Well, tonight... I think I found the problem. It seems that the VIDEO PROCESSOR CIRCUIT CHIP, the 48 pin item... (IC301)...is defective. I'm going to replace it, as soon as I can order it from Sony. They want $46.00 for it. I'm quite sure that these IC's are the problem. Have any of you repaired this model ?? Please get in touch with me if you have. Thanks Guys. BERNIE
Write to me at.... BZUCH52@AOL.COM Thanks !!
