Sony CDX-747X 10-Disc CD Changer

Pros: Plays song from memory while changing CDs.
Cons: Sound quality did not match the quality found on older Sony CD changers. Most disappointing.

I have multiple Sony CD car changers. I recently installed this unit in my existing vehicle and was planning on moving my Sony CDX-91 (older model CD changer, best ever made by Sony) into another vehicle. When I installed the CDX-747X after having made no other changes to my existing system, the music sounded "flatter" over all and lacked punch in the bass and seem to lack a crisp midrange. I couldn't take it, I stuck the CDX-91 back in my system. I'm not sure what to do with this thing now, but since I'm an audiophile, I can't listen to this inferior product.
