AJ Madison

I had an excellent experience with AJ Madison. I received my order in a little over a week from the time that I ordered it. It was delivered on a Saturday. I was very impressed at how well my refrigerator was packed and it was in perfect condition. The price was outstanding! I will shop there again in the future.

We purchased a refrigerator and dishwasher from AJ Madison. The company had great service and communication during the whole process.

I placed 2 orders online on the same night 5 night ago and have not received an order confirmation email yet. I sent them an email and called and left a message but I have not heard back about the confirmation emails. I did get a call the morning after placing the order to make sure I placed the order- because it is shipping to an address different than billing. With all the negative postings about this company I an worried- I ordered over $5000 in appliances. I work for NBC and my station is interested in doing a story on "online ordering" so I would like to have a great story to tell. Maybe others have input. I hope to have all 5 appliances arrive in tip top shape w/no damage as others have posted. I'll keep this blog updated and let you know how it turns out and if you see this on nbc special I hope you will enjoy it!

The buying process was fine. We purchased two through wall AC units (fedders). These units have not worked since the day after they were installed. I am appalled at the terrible service from AJ Madison. The products they sold us (>$2300 worth of goods) are clearly lemons. Their customer service and "repair" service is deplorable. They have no regard for their customers and there seems to be no way to to rectify our situation.

I ordered one of the new Amana 26" PTAC units in mid August 2008. AJ Madison charged my credit card $597.00. After 2 weeks I sent an email to see why I had not received the unit. I had tracked the order on their web site and it said shipped. Turns out Amana does not have the unit. They are scheduled to have the unit on Sept 15, 2008. Once I found this out I asked for a refund but did not get a reply. Thank goodness my credit card company listens and they have given me credit for this. This has been the worst experience I have had in almost 9 years. LOL they would do well to sell on EBAY!!

I just cancelled my order for a new fridge.

I placed my order over two weeks ago. I called yesterday to check the status. I was told the item was not even available from the manufacturer until October. I would have appreciated a call or email informing me of such a delay. The original salesperson assured me delivery within ten to 14 days.

I spoke to two different customer service reps yesterday and today.
My call was handled very poorly and the last customer representative I was speaking to attempted to put me on hold, instead disconnected my call.
It's unacceptable that he did not call me back considering he was looking at my order at the time and it clearly has a contact phone number listed.

I've placed an order with another company. Hopefully my account will be handled in a more professional manner. AJ madison is a major disappointment.

I am writing my first online opinion so others can avoid the nightmare I have had with AJ Madison. It has taken over a month, 15 phone calls, and 5 times waiting for a deliveryman who does not show up. Please try to find a more legitimate merchant.
