The order was easily completed online. But after waiting over I week I learned that they never had the product in inventory, that it was therefore never shipped, and that in fact the product was discontinued by the manufacturer.
AJ Madison then offered a substitute, but provided insufficient specifications for me to determine if in fact it would actually fit. So the business transaction was cancelled. AJ Madison performed professionally, but the two week delay in learning that they could not fulfill their claims was unacceptable in my opinion.

First time shopping experience exceeded all expectations!! Great price and great delivery service. Washer and dryer arrived in perfect condition. Delivery guys were courteous and helpful. I am going to shop online at AJ Madison in the near future for a refrigerator and an upright freezer.

I looked at everything on line and just called to confirm everything and how they were to be shipped. The gentleman I spoke to was very polite and helpful; he explained how the items were shipped and approx. how long it would be before I received them. They are still sitting in their boxes on my inside front porch, where the deliverymen placed them. TYVM (thank you very much!!!)

Found exactly the product we needed, located it on the website quickly, was pleased with the superior description of the product and the wide inventory on the site that I could compare my selection to, used the shopping cart with no problems and no repetitive questions that take up time, placed the order easily and waited for it to arrive. Received an e-note indicating the item was shipped and a couple of days later, voila! it arrived. Couldn't have been simpler or more satisfactory. Many thanks. JV

Merchandise advertised as being in stock IS NOT AVAILABLE in stock. Was told merchandise shipped when it had not. I ordered the item shown in stock. My order was accepted and a couple of days later cancelled because merchandise had been in back order for a long time- therefore, WAS NOT IN STOCK as advertised.
Couple of weeks later, the vendor changed the ad, lowered the price, and again showed the item in stock. I re-ordered. Received an email saying the item shipped via FEDEX. When I inquired about delivery details, the vendor replied cancelling the order because the item was in back-ordered for a long time. AGAIN- not in stock, told it shipped when it had not, order cancelled automatically without first consulting the customer. Yet, the vendor keeps enticing customers to order.
This is good material for a State Attorney General investigation exemplifying unacceptable businee practices.

Carrier used was ABF and had fork truck damage to lower right rear outside of my new unit... I called in for adjustment and was very satisfied with the outcome even though there was somewhat of a delay due to truckers fault.

I have purchased an Avanti product prior to this. It was freight damaged. The AJ Madison called me right away after I emailed them and resolved the problem quickley. This is why I purchased again from them.

The site, the price and the selection were great. But all this does not matter if you cannot receive the merchandise!!! Tracked the order and all was on schedule until it reached the UPS near my home. UPS has called everyday for 7 days and each day they called back to say the refrigerator is on the wrong truck or it was stuck in traffic or some lame excuse! I am worried the refrigerator will be torn up with all the traveling it has incurred!!! UPS also says they will not deliver to my house. I will have to meet them with a truck to pick it up. I don't have a truck! What a mess!! Not sure I will do this again!! Just had a 600 pound generator delivered to my door and unloaded by a freight line with not problem. Wish AJ Madison would use this carrier instead of UPS!!

The only issue was the quality of the packaging and shipping. Both packages were beat up pretty bad, but the only apparent damage was a corner of the microwave/convection oven. And since that corner is hidden (it's a built-in installation) and since there was apparently no operational damage, there should be no problem.
