Pros: Works with all my games, runs smoothly, S-Video output Cons: Would've liked composite out

Great For Dual-Monitors, Average Gaming Performance
by supersimon ,Sep 30 '03
Pros: Excellent multiple monitor support with dual CRT ports Cons: Gaming performance is good, but not excellent
ATI Radeon 7000 64mb DDR
This was my first good quality video card after using a 2mb one from the stone age.
It has worked really well from the beginning in providing excellent multiple monitor support through the two CRT monitor ports - I can no longer go back to working on a single monitor.
Most recent games run relatively well on the lower resolutions but the card cannot cope with games using high resolutions or intensive graphics with antialiasing as well as other cards on the market. I believe the dual-head support is it's major selling point. Checkout the benchmarks from 3DMark for a good comparison with other cards.

The card performs excellently for standard business applications and even multimedia use such as Flash animation and video editing.
I highly recommend using the most recent Catalyst drivers from ATI to ensure the card is running to it's maximum potential.
