Prices same as Expedia, screens are even the same

This company uses Expedia's search engine. Their prices will be exactly the same. Even the screens look the same, except the name at the top of the screen is different.

When I called America's Vacation Center about a last minute cruise to the Caribbean, I was blown away by their courteous and efficient staff. I was treated with respect and patience by my very knowledgeable "Personal Vacation Planner" and she gave me all the options for my cruise. Not only did she help me make my travel plans, but I also paid less than anywhere else I could find on the internet. She also found me a cruise with shipboard credit and she got us a free upgrade for our cabin!
Delivery Speed: They were very prompt in contacting me and sending me my documents.
Order Accuracy: Perfect. They ended up saving my wife and I over $200 more than any other online travel store.
Customer Service: Our "Personal Vacation Planner" was trustworthy and was an absolute doll to work with.
Overall Satisfaction: I'm elated with how great they did!
I will definitely call America's Vacation Center for my next vacation. It seems like they have a seamless operation and they gave me the attention I deserve! I now make my entire extended family book their trips through them!

Fraudulently charged my credit card more than I owed then agent disappeared...

I asked AVC for a quote and one of their "representatives" contacted me. I was not aware that the person contacting me was not an employee, but was classed as an "independent affiliate". After months of lies, dodging questions, not supplying trip statements she fraudulently charged my credit card for $400 more than I owed to finalise my cruise. I have chased and chased and after 2 weeks of being unable to contact my agent I got in touch with AVC customer service who informed me that my agent was no longer "affiliated" with them. No one had contacted me, no one had replied to my emails.Now they have offered "because of their outstanding customer service" to give back the money that was stolen from me. They keep treating me like they're doing me a favour by giving my money back. Their service has been disgusting and they have treated me like a criminal...when I am an innocent customer who was overcharged by them. The whole mess has been disgracefully handled.

Very Rude!!!!!!

I inquired about a cruise via the internet. It was the first day the cruise was available for booking and the cruise was well over 1 1/2 years away. He said I need to book ASAP and needed to call before the end of the day because they were selling like crazy. I knew right away from the email that it was just a sales pitch. Later in the night I got a call with blocked caller id. The travel agent from AVC was very rude to me right away. He asked my age and if I could even afford the cruise. He was being so rude I politely told him I have his email and I think about it and get back to him. He said I'm sure you will and hung up. Little did he know I already booked my cruise earlier in the day so YES I could afford it. I would have been willing to rebook with him if had actually told me a better price and not been so rude! STAY AWAY FROM AVC!

Horrible company. We paid for a cruise and flights there and back and they "lost our reservation". We had to look around for last minute flights, hotels, and we did not get the same rate for our cruise. On the airplane we were not able to sit together which is ok except that I have a young daughter who is afraid of flying. Our travel representative never returned phone calls. We had to call and ended up being transferred to another rep with more experience. Even with that we still had to call every day to ensure our status. We will never use this agency again.
