Pros: lightweight, quiet operation, two fan speeds, USB pass-through connector, cord storage
Cons: no carrying case unless you count the cardboard box it came in

Summary: My brother is always telling me about techno-gadgets. Things I can’t live without. Sometimes I listen, and sometimes I drag my feet saying, “Do I really need that?” For a year he’s been telling me about a device that cools down a ... read more

    Nov 24 '06
Pros: Sturdy Construction, Great Thermal Performance, USB Cable Piggyback Plug
Cons: Louder than expected (from packaging), Irritating LED, Short USB Cable

Summary: I have a T ohisha Terca M4, and I was having trouble with the bottom of that thing heating up. Under normal operation, it's not much of a problem, but if I'm doing anything intensive with the laptop on my lap, it gets ... read more

  • Antec Notebook Cooler... An Interesting Item

    Sep 15 '06
Pros: Whisper Quiet Lo mode and Fairly Quiet on Hi. Low Power Consumption. USB Pass Through
Cons: Somewhat thick, USB power cable a bit short. Uncomfortable and unstable on your lap.

Summary: I originally bought the Targus Notebook Cooling Chill Mat to use with my older HP notebook and an older Inspiron 8200. Although this didn't do very much for the Inspiron 8200, the Targus Chill Mat helped keep my HP Pavilion AMD ZE4101 running at full ... read more
