Pros: A small, charming hotel of character in the heart of Fort Lauderdale Beach. Cons: This is a small property and may fill up quickly--Book Ahead!
Fort Lauderdale is so full of hotels which are either pretentious piles of marble or plastic tidbits of nothingness blowing in the wind. Happily for the adventurous and wise traveler, there are a few small places of real character still hiding in Fort ...

Pros: Does not feel like a hotel at all Cons: Owner is a bit bipolar
After spending a week at that icky place up the block, I was ecstatic to find the Ask Me Inn. I was just kind of wandering the area around A1A and asking rates trying to find a better place for a longer period in Ft Lauderdale. I was drawn to this ...

Pros: Very personable, friendly owner. Great location. Very clean!! Cons: If anyone can think of one, I'll surely debate you on it! :-)
Being someone who generally leans more toward a large beach-front resort, I was a little hesitant when my husband surprised me with a little three day birthday getaway at the Ask Me Inn. I'm happy to say I could not have been more wrong about this ...

Pros: EVERYTHING! Cons: There are no "cons" where ASK ME INN is concerned.
I have been asked to update my review by adding pertinent information about the Inn itself. When Scarlett purchased the business five years ago, it was old and rundown and needed drastic updating. While the building was sound, the rooms were nothing to ...

What a pleasure
by mkop ,Apr 09 '07
Pros: Location, great room. Cons: can't think of any.
I loved the Ask Me Inn. It was in a perfect location - a short walk to the water taxi, beach, bus stops and plenty of bars and restaurants. Also a short taxi ride to Las Olas Blvd. We stayed in the King Penthouse Suite. The room was adorable, clean and was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need and more. Scarlett was an absolute pleasure to work with, and always very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: wonderful-charming Cons: none
I have stayed at the "Ask Me Inn" on several occasions and have always had an absolutely wonderful time. I visit several times a year and have never had a bad experience with staff. I have never experienced lizards or roaches in any of my rooms while staying there. I think it is a warm and charming place and intend on staying there many more times in the future. I am trying to book now for a November vacation.

Pros: 1 block to the beach, towels & beach chairs provided. Cons: no cons!!!
What a wonderful, re-freshing, clean Inn. Close to the beach, shopping and hot night life. Highly recommend to all. The patio area is comfort and relaxing after a day on the beach.

Ask Me Inn - AWESOME!!!!!!!!
by bonroy ,Oct 04 '05
Pros: Feels like home, great price! Cons: We can't stay longer.
My husband and I have been staying at Ask me Inn for 2 months. If you are looking for a place that has that "home" feeling this is the place to stay. The owner Scarlett welcomes you into "her home" with open arms. The price is the cheapest and the service is the best.
The negative comments you read in this comment area is written by people whom tried to take advantage of this sweet hostess. Which "users" usually do.
The motto to this lovely place is "You can check-in when you like.....but you can never leave." It's so nice here you just simply DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE!
My husband and I consider Scarlett as a member of our family now. You will too when you leave.
