Pros: Weather-RESISTANT, 5 year limited warranty, can stuff for travel, then fold away and store. Cons: Might create "drag" for some cars, not as big as it looks in the picture.
When we decided to evacuate for Hurricane Isabel, we decided that we were going to take our Honda Civic (see my husband's review see

Glad I didn't pay anything for it.

Pros: Cheap, lightweight, foldable Cons: Poorly constructed and little to no warranty information.
I received one of these as a tip guiding a scout group years ago. I wasn't overly impressed with it. The zipper leaked and then finally ripped out. I had a pretty good feeling the manufacturer wouldn't stand behind their product. I've since cut it up and used it to make heavy duty patches. I've been very pleased with how the patches hold up. Too bad that's the best thing I have to say about it.

awesome carrier but don't put anything pointy in it!
by khardersittel ,Aug 05 '04
Pros: a more solid, secure carrier than the cheaper ones Cons: don't use anything pointy or remotely sharp up top. You'll be sorry!
Hi - this was great - for a while. When we put my baby's stroller in it the carrier streaded to pieces on the inside. There wereliterally 1,000'2 of tiny pieces of the waterprrof lining. We still thoguth it was useable but definately not h20 proof at that point. The next 1000 miles were fine but at some point after that the integrity was compromised and we had a 5 foot gaping hole . Luckily we happened to stop and it was obvious...so we had to make a trip to a walmart and bough one of the smaller, sheaper carriers - it worked fine, but we missed the space and the strong straps of the axius. so, only put suitcases and the like in your carrier, pack it tightly to avoid it whipping in the wind and potentially ripping, and nothing even remotely sharp or pointy. I did't read the directions too carefully
