Pros: Good consistent cup of hot coffee Cons: Cheaply built and won't last long
I love coffee but I happen to make some of the worlds worst coffee. Once my husband went back to school this fall it was no longer convenient to run down to Dunkin Donuts for a large coffee first thing in the morning. But I needed my caffeine fix. ...

Pros: Back when it worked it made coffee fast and easily. Cons: Flimsy, junk product. 1st unit DOA out of the box. 2nd died in 6 mos.
I originally rated this product 3 stars and recommended it. I have updated the review at the bottom to reflect that our second unit died within the first six months of purchase. Because of that I have switched this product's rating to 1 star and do ...

Pros: Space-age looking appliance, Convenient and Easy to use, virtually no cleanup Cons: Can be pricey without coupon, plastic flavor, bitter & luke-warm coffee
The Black & Decker Home Cafe is an individual coffee maker for those that prefer making one cup at a time rather than a whole pot. It is simple and convenient to use, with little cleanup required. Although a bit pricey, Black & Decker has been issuing ...

Pros: Caffeine in a jiffy. Low mess for the most part. Cons: Not so tasty caffeine. A “jiffy” isn’t one minute.
The Black and Decker Home Café system should be featured on The Simpsons. It’s a parody appliance; it doesn’t do anything well. And yet I use it every morning, and some evenings. Go figure. The “System” promises café-tasting coffee in about a ...

Pros: Quick and easy, fits different brand pods, fits larger coffee mugs and travel cups Cons: have to move the unit out from under the cupboard to remove the water tank
I've tried several single cup coffee and pod machines looking for the easiest one to use. When I tried the Home Cafe single serve system, it seemed to fit more to the things I was after. Most size coffee mugs and travel mugs fit in with ease, and you ...

Pros: I got it cheap. Makes a fast, OK, cup of coffee. Cons: Poor quality overall. Noisy.
I've been wanting a one-cup coffee maker, because my 10-cup sits unused taking up counter space. Let me say up front that I bought the Home Cafe simply because I found it on sale, marked down from $59.99 to $19.99 and I had a 20% off coupon - so final ...

Pros: Cost Cons: Not well constructed, coffee not hot enough.
I bought the Black & Decker Home Cafe system after checking out the Senseo, and other one-cup coffee makers like Melitta. Selecting one of the coffee makers from the many available was a challenge because all state they make the best frothy coffee like ...

Pros: Very consistent brewing, so you always get the exact same cup of coffee. Cons: It is too light, and some parts won't stand heavy usage.
I own two of these machines. I have the black model at my home and the white model at the office. I bought the home one first, and after a weekend I decided I could no longer stomach the coffee from my office's coffee club (of which I am a founding ...

Pros: Quick, easy to use, coffee is okay Cons: cheaply made, very noisy and will just stop working! Company didn't send replacement.
I actually bought this machine right before it was seen on "Survivor". It was one of the items that the tribe who won the reward challenge was presented with. So I thought great if they are advertising this on show that has such great ratings it must ...

Pros: Price, ease of use, Other name brand pods fit this machine, Cons: Plastic not really durable like we would have liked, bitter coffee at times
My husband has been wanting to get a Home Cafe machine since he saw the Tassimo on the Apprentice Martha Stewart. While we couldn't afford that one just yet, we decided to check out some of the other machines that had similar features for a better ...

Pros: Fast, good tasting coffee, convenient Cons: Cheap construction, coffee not hot enough for some people, not worth it if full price
Let me start off by saying that I'm not an every day coffee drinker. I drink it a few times a week. I also don't like to get out of bed for class early in the morning, so I usually end up taking coffee with me rather than sitting and drinking it before ...

Pros: does what designed for.. 1 cup no fuss. easy cleanup. Cons: bad quantity and strength control.. with workarounds ok.
I was considering getting the Senseo.. my requirements are to be able to make a single cup of coffee on an infrequent basis.. so a 1-cup coffee maker is perfect in concept. I found the B&D and rather liked the design and the price seemed very fair. ...

Pros: Quick cup, quick cleanup, removable reservoir. Decent taste. Fits purpose. Cons: Cheap construction, noisy, large, not the best cup I've had.
This product does exactly as claimed: it makes a single cup of coffee. It's easy to use. After filling the removable water tank, you insert a coffee packet, you pull back the lever (or try to), and you select which of 3 cup sizes you'll use (in ...

Pros: Convenience, easy cleanup, rapidly produce quick cup of coffee. Cons: Coffee temperature too cold, pods cost too much
I recently purchased the Black and Decker Home Cafe because I wanted a way to have a fast, tasty cup of coffee whenever I want it. First of all the machine is kind of flimsy. The lid that holds the pod holder is made of light plastic and you have to ...

Pros: If you want to cut down on your coffee consumption, this is the way! Cons: Makes a bad, lukewarm cup of brown liquid.
I can hardly believe I would bash any device that made coffee quickly. I am the worlds biggest coffee junkie, and gladly drink even gas station coffee if I am in need of a caffeine fix. However, I believe I may have just tasted the worlds WORST cup ...
