Pros: No overflow of coffee and you always have a filter.
Cons: Cleaning the filter instead of throwing it away like paper filters.
Summary: Many times I would make coffee and use a paper filter that would bend during the brewing process which caused the coffee to overflow all over the counter. I tried different things like wetting the paper filter before use etc. but it still didn't help.
