Pros: All in one solution (light, radio and charger power source) ready for any power failure.
Cons: Mediocre radio performance on the weather band.

Summary: After Hurricane Katrina, my brother-in-law purchased one of these for his brother on the Gulf Coast and one for himself. When he passed away recently, we inherited his Storm Station. The unit itself seems to be sturdily built with a convenient ... read more

Pros: All in one design with a flash light in a very rugged case.
Cons: Put a great big sign on the front, keep it plugged in and charging .

    Pros: NONE
    Cons: Wasted support from B&D...

Summary: Bought one of these units after Wilma. I charged it up and it worked fine...packed it away with the rest of my hurricane supplies. I recently took it out to check it for my surprise it would not hold a charge. After much research it ... read more

  • Don't buy a Storm Station!

Pros: Worked great until the flashlight went missing.
Cons: The flashlight is not available. Unthinkable.

Summary: Critical parts, like the rechargeable flashlight, are no longer available for this fairly new on the market product. Black & Decker is not concerned about this total lack of customer service. The Storm Station is a good idea turned into throwaway junk ... read more
