Pros: great plot & characters, highly original
Cons: very short; language may give you a headache

This fairly slim novel by Patrick McCabe (author of the "The Butcher Boy") will probably not be one of his better remembered works, which is a shame. As a character study, it is first rate--McCabe's genius lies in his ability to portray madness...
