Good Basic Machine
by kakegoddes ,Sep 30 '03
Pros: Simple to operate.
Clear instruction manual
reliable
cheap Cons: no stretch or other fancy stiches
touchy tension control
I bought this machine on a whim at Wal-mart because I was vaguely interested in sewing. I soon thereafter forgot about the idea and the machine was put in the closet. Three years, two moves, and one child later, I learned to sew clothing and became addicted. I have had almost no problems whatsoever with this machine. It is a breeze to wind the bobbin and even easier to thread. My only complaint is the touchy tension control. This machine does not do anything fancy, but what it does it does well. I would reccamend this machine for the beginning or occaisional sewer on a budget
