As the recipient of a flower gift shipped from Calyx and Corolla, be warned - they don't know how to pack! The initial shipment, a gift from my daughter, arrived via UPS 2nd day with carton fully unscathed, but with the ominous sound of broken glass. Sure enough, the vase had shattered and the glass fragments had severely damaged the arrangement. I called to inform C&C and they graciously sent a replacement. For the 2nd shipment they switched to an acrylic rather than glass vase. This time the vase was merely cracked (and so leaked). The flowers - pathetic; broken stems and wilted - not likely a heat issue since the shipment was in December. I don't know what if any they can do at this point since the gift occasion (Christmas) is now upon us. I have never ordered from this company but thought those of you doing so might want to hear how it works out on the other end.
