This is as close as Leica gets to a zoom lens for the M system and is a most convenient lens for day time use.

If you know photography then this is no slouch in the performance arena and its not leaving you with a lens that only works on APS-C digital SLR's.�

It's a nice all-coverage lens. Not as sharp as a fixed-focal length 28mm or 50mm but okay (best at its widest angles). . . .

If money's not an object, buy Nikon. If it is, this might be a consideration; it might break, but Sigma has good service.

I have this lens...It is an f2.8-4 lens, not a constant 2.8!! Wouldn't it be grand if it WAS at the price!! That being said, . . .
