I recommend it for R owners needing a 24mm prime lens, since there's no other choice. However, it's not up to the standard of other R lenses.

Robust, sharp and fast. Japanese quality at it's finest. Some minor issues that may take some use to. Once mastered the it works like a real gem.

The Sigma 28-300mm zoom does work, but is functionally slow, and definitely not usable for everyday photography, and has limited use for fast action.
