Given its price, I expected this lens to be much worse. It's a bit soft in the corners, but otherwise a solid performer, inheriting a mirror lens's advantages and disadvantages.

I can't rate it as excellent due to the focal breathing. Nor can I rate it average. So 4 stars is a compromise. Sorry, Nikon.
