Carbonite has no service for its product. After a software conflict with Carbonite destroyed all of my data. Two hours on the support line with no help. Where is the 'service' in the online service?

This product is a scam. I asked it to backup my important audio project files. It did not back up any audio files even though it said "backup complete". Unlimited backup? Yeah right.
It may work for typical house user but not for a professional computer user that needs .wavs or larger than typical files.
I emailed support and not one response.
Plus it takes up CPU and bandwidth if you are a gamer. Even in low priority mode.

I have been a long term customer of unlimited Carbonite service since 2007 with years of subscription. Recently, my computer crashed. I needed to reinstall the Carbonite on my new machine. Then all my problems come to show up. My backup ceased to work in the new machine with more than 25 GB to do. It just shifted to recovery mode without backing up. It is not simply slow. I left the machine on T1 for one whole week -- no backup happen.

I emailed several times to request help. No reply. I went to chat room. After one line of message "Please allow me a moment while I review your account", this person left the chat room. I could never find anyone to help me on the Chat room any more. I am kept in the number 2-4 in the queue for several hours...

I think I should warn everyone about this. This used to be good service. But something has changed.. THis level of custmoer service is terrible
