Won't Return Even If Free by mensadan  Pros: The vanilla ice cream was pretty good.
Cons: Very expensive and noisy, burgers and fries WAY below par in taste. Just visited a Red Robin for the first (and last) time on McDowell in Goodyear, AZ. Wife had a "free burger" birthday coupon, so off we went. What a bad surprise. Very noisy place and the $9+ burgers were way below average in taste, although they were big.

I had a Banzai and my wife had a different one (don't remember which one), and we agreed that we haven't had such bad burgers in many years. ANY of the other chain burger joints have much better burgers, and Red Robin's French fries were dreadful too--not even in the same league as the great McD's fries. Since we also had some "free desert" coupon, we ordered a "hot fudge" sunday. They only have vanilla ice cream, but it was pretty good. Unfortunately the "hot fudge" tasted like some kind of thick chocolate syrup--at least it wasn't Hersheys! As if the food wasn't bad enough, the service was pretty slow too. Looks like the vast majority of reviewers like the chain, but we sure won't be returning. |

The Best Tasting Smoothie on the Planet Indeed! by dmoncada Pros: The store was clean, the staff was friendly, and even the music was good!
Cons: Every time I have been in here I have been satisfied so no complaints! I have been eating a lot of fast food recently and one day, I just wasn't craving it. I wanted something healthier than fast food but that would still fill me up and taste good. I noticed a Planet Smoothie close to my university so I decided to give it a try. I had never been here before and the staff was helpful in what I should order. I just told them what kind of fruits I liked and did not like and they suggested several different smoothies that I would probably like. The smoothie I got was absolutely delicious! It was blended just right, tasted just right, and definitely priced just right. I am now hooked on these things and everyone should most DEFINITELY try one at some point!
