CleanFlicks tag line is, the original alternative. It appears that their competitor with the similar sounding name of CleanFilms bugs them a bit. Maybe its because CleanFilms uses almost the exact same colors on their website,...
I ran across Cleanflicks.com while searching for DVDs and was curious what they had to offer. Cleanflicks.com is an online DVD rental company that charges a monthly membership fee for movies rather than charging per movie. Unlike other DVD ...
CleanFlicks is a business that the Insider loves (but not because you think!). I have no intention of ever joining the service, it's just not for me. But I love it because you could only do this sort of thing online. Let's take a look at what it ...
My experience with CleanFlicks has been pretty good. It's a decent service that meets my needs just fine. Summary: CleanFlicks rents & sells DVD & VHS, similar to NetFlix. I use the service to rent DVDs & haven't purchased any videos. Your monthly ...
My wife and I dropped out of the whole movie experience for a while, sometimes going for a PG-13 or less movie. One night we heard about Cleanflicks and decided to try it. Had problems with the lower membership, just wasn't getting movies fast ...

great editing, not so great shipping time and service by melsdiner ,Jan 07 '04
They have a lot of movies to choose from and the editing is done very well, you can't even tell that something was taken out unless you've seen the movie before. However, it takes at least a week for them to "Process the shipment." This I think is crazy! We were members for a month and only received 1 movie and had 1 movie waiting to be shipped. Then, it took 4 times of us contacting them for them to cancel our membership. And they even sent us a movie after we had sent 3 emails asking to be canceled. The movies are good but the service isn't so great. If you pay more and get like 5 movies a month maybe it would be better cause the week wait wouldn't seem like so much if you've got other movies to watch too.
NOT RECOMMENDED!. Editing good, but too many DVD's cracked upon arrival and very slow delivery. by timurzhan ,Feb 18 '06
I started using CleanFlicks thinking it was a great concept. I had grown weary of all the trash Hollywood was dishing out and wanted an alternative. I tried the free trial period, then went for a month paying. I grew increasingly disappointed in the slow delivery time (sometimes 10 days to get the DVD!), and also started getting cracked or damaged DVD's. It seems they are either using thin disks or they haven't come up with an envelope that can survive the U.S. Postal Service's sorting system. Sometimes, "digital artifact" made viewing impossible. Upon complaining, their customer service department would increase the number of DVD's sent from my list, but many of those also arrived cracked. What good is that?! After a month of this lunacy, I cancelled my subscription. I requested my money back, but they refused.
