by spongebob_man1 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 50, Nov 29 '03
Pros: Big Hard Drive, Great Playback
Cons: Heavy, Price
It was probably the style that drew you to the Jukebox Zen. Creative Labs threw a sleek, shiny aluminum case over a very large capacity hard drive. The cool thing is, not only can it hold a lot of info...it is very easy to use! Creative Labs ...

Nomad Zen is a great player for PC users!!

by theheidis , Feb 27 '03
Pros: small size, huge storage capacity, affordable compared to similar players
Cons: Somewhat expensive, small buttons
So I upgraded from the original Nomad Jukebox 6gb to the zen 2.0. It was exactly what I wanted – smaller size, bigger storage, and better battery life (built in lithium with up to 14 hours) – all in a nice silver case.

In my...

Finally, an MP3 player I can justify purchasing!

by ww_dagger , Feb 21 '03
Pros: High storage capacity; Small; Light; Durable; Cheap; Made by a company specializing in audio hardware.
Cons: Software package; Menu system can be confusing and difficult to navigate; Somewhat weak literature.
Preface:
I’ve been collecting MP3’s for as long as they have been in existence. I have a collection of 60 gigs on my desktop PC. I came very close to buying the Nomad Jukebox MP3 player when it first came out, but it was too large to...

So Much Sound From So Small a Product

by dbirk , Oct 27 '02
Pros: Great Sound, MP3, WAV, and WMA, Create Playlists Easily, 20GB!
Cons: Can't Apply Smart Volume & EQ Both, 9 Hr Playback Per Charge, No Battery Door
I've been thoroughly enjoying the Zen for almost a week now. As this is my first portable MP3 unit, I won't spend time trying to compare this product to others, like Creative's other offerings or the Apple iPod. Comparison isn't a good way to evaluate...

Need every Album you own with you?

by slavedheart , May 12 '03
Pros: Easy to Use, update, manage. Used for data transfer. Great EAX abilities. Compact and light.
Cons: drivers needed for data transfer. Needs it's firmware updated. Slight learning curve.
The Nomad Zen 2.0 is the device that should make the IPod crowd work a little harder for it's dominance in the MP3 player market. This svelte box from Creative has the style, the capacity and the ability to make a major name for itself, if it could only...

Powerreviews on Zen

by powerreviews , Feb 16 '03
Pros: Good price space ratio for 20 GB hard drive. Holds other data than mp3s
Cons: A bit bulky and instructions could have been better.
Pros:

This is great a product for around low 300 dollars after the rebate and taxes. Although there is no audio input for the Zen by itself, rest assured that there is an accessory out there that will fix the problem along with some others...

Best for the buck!

by nofxslc , Mar 06 '03
Pros: Price, Size, Features
Cons: Headphones, Small Buttons
At a minimum of $250 a pop, a 20 GB MP3 player is a big desicion for most of us to make. I spent countelss hours researching and comparing MP3 players before I went out to buy. I narrowed it down to two, the Creative Zen and the iPod. I used and...

Great alternative to iPod and $100 cheaper! But it's PC vs. Mac revisited!

by ivansinger , Jun 11 '03
Pros: Sound quality PC3 rip is well designed 20Gb storage PC3 software has good performance
Cons: Nomad Zen inefficient click and scrollthru interface needs to be more Mac-like.
Have had the Zen for a week and here are my thoughts:

1) People have written that the Zen will change your life. It will. But not necessarily for the better. However, the plusses far outweigh the minusses. I find myself walking more with...
