Pros: Food, service and downtown attractions
Cons: remodeling not done

Pros: The renovation should include good meeting rooms and new restaurants.
Cons: The building is a chunky 23 storied box right now and needs exterior renovations.
Summary: The Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Jackson, Mississippi was recently purchased by the Columbia-Sussex Corporation of Fort Mitchell, KY and will undergo a complete renovation. The hotel is expected to re-open some time in the spring of 2004
