This was my favorite childhood book. It is required reading for anyone interested in Greek mythology, as it presents dozens of myths and characters (both well known and more obscure) from Greek mythology in a highly entertaining and well illustrated book. There is plenty to read for kids all the way up on to adults who don't want to get mired down with lengthy academic works but just want a good summary of the world's most famous Greek myths and Gods. The illustrations included fire the imagination of young and old alike, bringing to life these characters and their incredible stories. This is a classic that is sure to entertain and educate about this lost civilization's greatest myths.
