Pros: Lightweight, durable, dual pointing devices, built-in NIC and modem Cons: Only one USB port, Small FN, DEL, INS, etc. keys, no parallel port

Pros: Light-weight, good battery life, very quiet, solid construction, serial port. Cons: Only one PCMCIA slot.

Pros: very compact and light; good performance for business apps Cons: small screen, peripherals may be awkward to use.

Pros: Very small and light weight. Nice case design, long battery life Cons: only 1 USB port, no parallel, small screen.
Summary: The Latitude C400 is Dell’s compromise between the X200 ultra small laptop and the rest of Dell’s laptop line. Coming in at a mere 3.6 pounds(with the 4-cell battery) and only 1 inch thick while closed, it is certainly easy to carry on the road.
