I would recommend visiting distilleries over The Scotch Whisky Experience, but this is a fun diversion if you're just in Edinburgh and short on time.

Stonehenge is a man-made wonder that is a not-to-be-missed attraction.  Admission is affordable, the audio tour is informative and the scenery breath-taking.  Easy to get to.

My family and I enjoyed the London Eye.  Although expensive, this attraction offers breath-taking views of London.  Combination tickets purchased in advance will save you money.
