Who really needs crappy CS ? by sojournseeker Pros: Video, REC, Excellent pics, fairly simple to execute and cheaper than most
Cons: No good customer service reps anymore Well to the very very few Epinioners that reviewed the DXG Technology DXG-518 Digital Camera ahead of me who seemed quite disappointed if not completely exasperated with the treatment of customer service, I will say who gives a rats patootie ...

One of the best you can buy by wrldtravler Pros: Amazing pictures, Full frame sensor, professional quality.
Cons: Battery life, 3 fps continuous shooting speed, 75 ms shutter lag. In the past, I've won photography contests and taken photography classes and have done so using fairly inexpensive cameras. I am not a technological guy. Usually, when I buy a product, I don't read the manuals. I just explore and use it and figure it out ...

Canon's G11 is a step in the right direction. by theuerkorn Pros: Excellent compromise between resolution and low light capability, RAW capture, articulated screen
Cons: much better than G10 but still noisy at high ISO, somewhat slow Canon released not too long ago the respectable G10, and while a good camera it was also a kind of zenith of the megapixel race with 14.7 MPx in such a small sensor. It's already eclipsed by even more dense sensors, but in the Advanced P&S category ...

Cons: Small size may be bad for large hands, ultra close-ups sometimes blurry I was a little concerned about buying this camera, I'll admit. My previous camera was a Sony mega-zoom -- a digital camera that looked like an SLR, ie: substantial, with big handholds and a big optical viewfinder. But the Sony had two problems - 1) it ...

Excellent Point-n-shoot camera with advanced features by denniskly Pros: excellent natural-light pictures, good ISO, excellent battery, good video recording, excellent stabilization feature.
Cons: flash picture quality mediocre, no HD video I bought Canon Powershot G10 a couple of months ago and had to sell it because of my need of rotating LCD screen. I bit the bullet and bought this brand new G11. At first I bought G11 for the sole reason of having rotating LCD, but after using it ...
