Pros: The best Latte and Cappuccino maker for $22 Cons: Never found it sooner....
How come I never heard of this super little gizmo until now ????

So easy to use, perfect foam
by arshad ,Jan 10 '04
Pros: Easy to use, clean, and makes great stiff foam Cons: None, really. Well, it needs batteries.
You'll give up the steam attachment on your espresso machine. Just fill up any container 1/3 of the way with milk, drop it in, tilt it, and turn it on. You'll be amazed at how quickly it makes foam, and how stiff it gets!
I picked one up in Germany over a year ago, and luckily they're available all over the US now. They're cheap, and well worth it. And so much easier to clean than that steam attachment. Of course, it doesn't heat the milk - but you might not mind!

I have broken two latte whips by getting them wet.
by patadler ,Oct 26 '04
Pros: The easiest most effective tool I have found for frothing milk for coffee. Cons: They stop functioning if the top part gets wet.
My latte whip worked fine until I put it in the sink and it got wet. That was the end of it and I had to buy another one. Then that one got wet and the some thing happened.
