Pros: Tons of options to gamble, lots of floor space, decent room rates
Cons: Ugh the smoke. Table minimums on weekends.

Summary: Like to gamble? You have to give this place a shot. I'm a big fan of casinos, I've gone to a few and love the atmosphere, the excitement, and the fun to be had in these one of a kind locations. The Casino A Little Background ... read more

  • Gambling and Good Fun at Foxwoods

    Aug 05 '04
Pros: fun and fairly loose nickel slots, non-smoking casino, lots of food options, arcade
Cons: high minimum for table games, elusive staff, mediocre buffet, tried too hard to mimic Vegas

Summary: I've heard several claims that Foxwoods is the largest casino in the world. If so, it hides it well. To me, it feels significantly smaller than the smallest casino I've entered on the Vegas Strip. That is not to say it's small - far from it. Foxwoods, ... read more

  • Machines are not that loose

    Aug 28 '05
Pros: Nice place, you may win, buffet
    Cons: You probably won't win

Summary: I was lucky to break even. My b/f and family lost money. This seems to be a typical experience from friends, etc. The buffet was good. Just set a limit when you go here and DON'T be tempted to go over it if you don't win...or you lose what you won.
