I love the regular Gain Detergent so I thought I would try the fabric softener. I tried the Ultra Gain liquid softener. I use it in the Downy Ball and it works just great . My clothes are soft , no static cling, and they smell awesome. I didnt know this but I just found the Gain Dryer Sheets and I cant wait to try them.

Gain is like a breath of fresh air. When I would drove up to my sister-in-law house I can smell the scent coming from the dryer outside and just filling the air with the breath taking smell and the scent is so wonderful.

I was using Downy brand softener. I think the fragrance was Island Bloom or something like that until I couldn't find it anymore. I emailed the company and they said that it was discontinued and that they were really sorry. They told me to try their other scents but they just weren't the same. For some reason I decided to buy Gain's Island Fresh and I LOVE it. It smells exactly like the smell that I used to love. I thought that it was lost and gone forever!! I just hope that enough people buy this scent so that it doesn't disappear from the shelves as well.

I usually buy Downy, but this time Gain was on sale, so I decided to try it. Well, as a laundry softener, it worked as good as others, no better, no worse. Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention that design of the cap was very poor, and a lot of softener was dripping on the floor. I have marble floors throughout the house, in the laundry room as well. Gain stained the marble so bad, that nothing can't clean it off. It kind of soaked through the marble. Now I have ugly spots on my precious floor forever. It thought me not to buy unknown products, even on sale.

Get a 32 oz spray bottle, add 2 oz of Gain fabric softener, fill the rest with water and use as a "clothes or furniture" refresher,to make everything smell nice, also use the same combination to clean your bathroom sinks, toilets, appliances.Careful on the bath though, can make it slippery. everything comes to a lovely shine and smells good too...great and versatile cleaner on almost everything!!!
