Medal of Disgrace: Flatline

by wandering_mage , Dec 21 '02
Pros: First Battle
Cons: Everything else
THE BASIC BEEF
I have never been much of a fan of EA games. The Nightfire and Agent Under Fire soured me to what they do to games, and I was frustrated. I didn’t want to try this game out especially, but when it’s Friday night with nothing...

Pin a Medal on This One

by johnenfield , Mar 05 '03
Pros: Cinematic sound, intelligent AI, realistic animations, adrenaline pumping action.
Cons: The usual console game limitations, no in-level save option.
I like "real life" war movies and games almost as much a I like science fiction. I especially like war movies portraying World War I or II. There have been some really good WWII movies in the last couple of years such as Saving Private Ryan, The Thin...

Medal of Sliver

by NMD85 , Dec 21 '02
Pros: Amazing atmospheric audio, impressive attention-to-detail, felicitous control scheme
Cons: Drab visuals, chuggy framerate, ho-hum objectives, some garbled sound
Ever since 1999, for some reason, World War II simulations seemed to be picking up the interest of many gamers of all kinds. EA's ever growing Medal of Honor series is just one to mention amongst the existing Castle Wolfenstein fanchise, which started...

Medal of Honor: Frontline or James Bond?

by asamanh , May 09 '03
Pros: Multiplayer, Normandy, Playability
Cons: THIS IS NOT A WORLD WAR II GAME
Medal of Honor: Frontline is a good game however it isn’t a World War II game. The first level is what the whole game should be like. In that level you get off a boat on Omaha Beach in Normandy. There are allied soldiers around you but they...

Decent first-person shooter for Gamecube

by james.dedik , Feb 03 '03
Pros: Graphics, storyline, gameplay, sound
Cons: Multi-player mode, no blood, bogus fatalities
Okay, so Medal of Honor Frontline isn't as good as Timesplitters 2 or Metroid Prime. This doesn't mean that it's not worth a second look at the rental store.

PROS
One of the things that sticks out most is the length of the game...

Under rated Honor

by Klaxon_Oil , Apr 27 '05
Pros: Graphics, story, and weapons.
Cons: Large tedious hard to figure out levels and maps.
Medal of Honor front line follows the story of Lt. Jimmy Patterson an intelligence officer who goes in behind enemy lines or works with regular grunts. In this game either you have the wits about you to remain silent or march in and kill anything that ...

by thedguy , Jan 03 '03
Pros: Great Atmosphere, mostly historically accurate.
Cons: Pathetic Multiplayer, low frame-rate
Frontline is a 1st-Person shooter, and unfortunately is made by EA games. One of my personal issues with EA's shooters is that it doesn't look (or feel) like you've actually shot a person. There is a wisp of smoke and then your opponent keels over, no...

Steer Clear of this game
by travelbug2002 ,Feb 21 '05
Pros: None
Cons: Totally unreliable
I bought this game for my son at a local store. We brought it home and it didn't work. The Gamecube symbol came up but the game wouldn't load. I figured it was a lemon, so I took it back to the store and they replaced it. Again, we put it on and the game wouldn't load. We tried other games on the machine to make sure the machine was working correctly. All of the other games played properly.

I went to the EA website to get technical help, but there wasn't anything listed for this problem. So I called the helpline. They couldn't help me either.

The company emailed me saying if I didn't return their email they would close the case. I emailed back saying the problem still wasn't solved and they should replace the game. They emailed back saying they would replace the game for $15.00.

I have never had a problem with a game like this one.
