A Win/ Loose Situation
by mariahaf ,Feb 17 '06
Pros: The game lets you pick things like Job,Clothes and Hair etc.
Cons: Although the game lets you pick those things you only have one pair of (everyday)clothes.
I recently got the Sims Busting out game for Game cube. In the game you can only have one pair of clothes besides you pj's and your swimsuit. You also can't go to many places until certain levels are unlocked. I still think its a good game. You can go on free play and create a family. It seems like it could be a really fun game once you get far in the game. Although I still think its a little disappointing. I do recommend the game.

Bustin' Out

Pros: A new way to play, detailed characters, achieving skills at other sims houses.
Cons: A new memory card required for each sim/player you create.
This was my first non PC exposure to the Sims. It's very different. Characters are very detailed-but make sure you get it right the first time. If you're like me, you'll be living with this Sim a long time. Creating a new Sim means starting a new game-unless you have lots of memory cards, anyway.

The game is based on an achieve goals, move (bust out) strategy. Far beyond the required job skills like the PC version. Goals include things like talking to other sims, using fast forward, getting a job, etc. Each new residence has new goals. Each goal unlocks something somewhere in the game (stuff to buy, build, social actions, etc.).

The two player version is a little frustrating- the screen splits diagonally, making it hard to see what's going on, and if either player goes somewhere, they both have to go.
