  • One Less Thing To Make You Go Blind - Game Boy Player

    Sep 14 '03
Pros: Play thousands of Game Boy games on your television
Cons: Only one color for 3 different colored Cubes? Ya idjits...

Summary: In theory, the Game Boy is probably the greatest creation for gamers, especially the ones who are on the go a lot. Letting you take games on the road or to *ahem* work is a great way to pass time and keep playing when you're away from your game systems. H ... read more

    Pros: It's a great accessory
Cons: some fuzzyness on GBA screens.

Summary: Back in the 90’s during the 16 bit era Nintendo released something called a Super Gameboy, it let you play the classic gameboy games on the TV screen. It also added some color to them, and programmer could even program there own limited color schemes ... read more

  • You can get this in the color you want...as long as you want black

    Feb 18 '04
Pros: plays all GB games, good size, fits well, easy setup, works great,
Cons: only comes in black :(, linking requires GBA cable, don't lose the start-up disc!

Summary: *I've decided to shave off a point - some games are better on a GBA because you can play them against each other with a link cable.* Nintendo delivers with a handy new device called the Game Boy Player! For those who don't know, this is spossed to ... read more

Pros: Good quality graphics, and no lighting problems.
Cons: Why can't the Gamecube controller be used with Zelda Four Swords?

Summary: I believe it was in July,03 I bought The Gameboy Player at Electronics Boutique Gameworld. Ever since then I quit using my Gameboy Advance.Good bye to needing so much light, to view the miniature screen of the Gameboy Advance.Though the GBA. was never ... read more

  • An excellent alternative to a GBA SP.

    Aug 24 '03
Pros: Full screen Game Boy Games, No more hand cramps, Cheap, like an GBASP.
Cons: Joystick too sensitive(?), can only have modem/GB player on at once.

Summary: I've been a huge fan of the gameboy. Ever since I played the very first clunky gray box, I've been ... read more

  • It's about time, Nintendo! (Nintendo Write Off)

    Jul 19 '03
Pros: Discover over a thousand great Game Boy games all on your TV.
Cons: Loading cartridges is a little annoying.

Summary: "Are you a Nintendo maniac?" For my part in the big 'Nintendo Writeoff' I'm doing a review on a little device that Nintendo fans are going to go crazy for. I've been waiting for this add on for a while but it's finally here! Your Nintendo ... read more

  • Finally, Game Boy without hand cramps

    May 26 '03
Pros: Easy to connect, easy to play any GB game
Cons: Analog is too sensitive, colors can be too bright, no save onto memory cards

Summary: Some people may think it's odd, but I've always been of the opinion that the Game Boy has consistently been the best video game system for some time. It has the widest array of titles that I like, and the fact that each new version of the system can ... read more
