Pros: A great way to wake up in the morning!
Great for hard-to-wake sleepers! Cons: None yet!
Summary: I have had this clock for about two weeks now, and I LOVE it! I despise loud, jarring buzzer alarms, but as a hard-to-wake sleeper, I can't rely on music alarms to get me up and going in the mornings. I am a perpetual snooze-button sleeper -- I ... read more

Pros: I do like the gradual light.
The price was right. Cons: Shrill, piercing alarm you must use.
Snooze bar turns off light
Summary: First of all the instructions were so complicated it probably took me a week of setting it every day to get it to go off. There are like three separate things you have to set in convoluted ways like "press and hold" or "press 2 buttons together" to set ... read more

Pros: The light, scents and 8 minute snooze. Cons: The sounds and the directions
Summary: We bought this clock from Hammacher Schlemmer just over a week ago. We had much higher expectations. If we can find something to replace it with in the next week we'll return it. *First - the sounds are terrible! The only one we can stand for any amount ... read more

Pros: Gentle way to wake up. Does as it should. Cons: Those awful aromatherapy beads.
Summary: I have trouble falling asleep, which doesn't matter too much since I work from home and can sleep in. However, my husband has to get up at an unearthly hour and often wakes me with his repeated use of the snooze button, then his stumbling about in a ... read more

Pros: nice for winding down; nice night light; large display panel; long cord Cons: 5 second sound loop; blaring buzzer cancels out the gentle wake up features.
Summary: I bought mine on eBay from a seller who marked it as "New." So I was surprised to find it was dusty and had no aromas with it and no directions (so if anyone has the directions and could find it in their heart to send me a copy please email me at ... read more

Pros: Gently illuminating light, nice sounds, a few good scents with ability to use own. Cons: Bright numbers, repetitive recordings, a loud beep at the end, non-standard bulb.
Summary: I received this clock and was very excited about it mostly because of the slowly illuminating light that gently wakes you up. Unfortunately, the one I received seems to be defective and instead of the light coming on and then slowly brightening, it ... read more

Pros: It coaxes you out of your sleep , more pleasant then regular alarm clocks Cons: The directions, you really HAVE to read them to figure out all the features.
Summary: I can finally say I found an alarm clock I like. After years of abrasive , annoying alarm clock buzzers and radios, i received this as a gift. I used it and am very pleased. You set the time you need to be up by, and the clock starts with gentle ... read more

Pros: Fun gadget! Light is great for seeing just enough without disturbing bed partner. Cons: Aromas. Cost is a bit high.
Summary: I asked for this clock as a gift this past December. My mother-in-law gave it to me (and my husband said, "good, because I wasn't going to"). I've been using it since the weekend of December 17 and still don't know if this will work for me. As a ... read more

Pros: Great clock, good sounds, aromatherapy, built in light Cons: Gets reset to 12:00 when a piezoelectric lighter is lit within 2 feet away
Summary: I got this clock because I'm a hard to wake sleeper and I love it! The sound I chose, singing birds, is loud enough to wake me up, but not so annoying that I turn it off and fall back to sleep like with a normal alarm, set at the right volume, it keeps ... read more

Pros: Great at relaxing and waking me up. Choice of scents is good. Cons: Very loud buzzer. Some scents can't be used for both sleep and wake modes.

Pros: Progressive illumination, various background noises, aroma pellets Cons: Remington logo photoshopped out of the Hammacher Schlemmer picture.
Summary: My first impression is that the clock is a bit overpriced at $50, but not a horrible deal. I was surprised to find a "Remington" logo on the top front of the clock. The logo has been photoshopped out of the picture on the Hammacher Schlemmer site. I ... read more

Pros: progressive lighting wake up beginning 30 minutes before alarm Cons: nature sounds seem like static, scents too strong
Summary: I bought this clock in order to experience an easier wake up in the morning. I have found that I love the progressive light coming on; it is a very easy way to wake up initially and very calm, too. I have found all of the sounds very bothersome,
