Goodnight Moon. Just saying those two words in my home will evoke the words "In the great green room..." My children love having this story read to them, even though they are able to read it themselves.

I was first introduced to the book Goodnight Moon when I was a little girl. That is when I fell in love with it. Now that I am expecting my first child in July I had to go out and get another copy of it.
I used to detest reading Goodnight Moon. I thought the pictures were rather dull, and the rhythm was ho-hum. Now, every time I pick it up, I fight back the tears...and I'm not usually the sappy, emotional type.
